Saheem’s family lives in his native town Pratapgarh in Uttar Pradesh. While he was growing up, the family was quite poor. His father was a farmer and his mother took care of the family. Often, the family had to struggle to meet the ends and even daily needs like a decent meal were hard to come by. On several occasions, the family had gone without food. Days like those remains engraved in Saheem’s memory till today.

Today, things have changed. The family is comfortable in Pratapgarh. They keep traveling to Mumbai to be with Saheem.
